LinkedIn’s engagement hit a record high in the last quarter of 2021, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said in a conference call with analysts and investors on Tuesday. The professional network’s revenue increased 37% year-over-year and Marketing Solutions grew 43% year-over-year, as Microsoft’s Q2 FY22 Earnings report states.

“Last quarter, we once again saw record engagement. And LinkedIn has become one of the world’s largest platforms for professional events, with more than 24,000 events created and 1.5 million RSVPs each week,”

Nadella said, according to a transcript.

Moreover, LinkedIn Sales Solutions, the portfolio that combines Sales Navigator and LinkedIn Sales Insights, surpassed $1B in revenue over the past 12 months. See more data on LinkedIn’s Newsroom as the member list consists of 806+ mln. users worldwide.

LinkedIn Kicked Off ‘Welcome, Professionals 2.0’ Integrated Brand Campaign, AdWeek reported. LinkedIn worked with McCann and the first TV spot, “Conversations,” debuted during CBS’s coverage of the National Football League Divisional Playoffs Sunday night. “[Members] are creating new spaces and narratives to reflect our individual journeys. These are the kinds of conversations we see every day on LinkedIn, sparking new connections, possibilities and creating opportunities for more people,” LinkedIn vice president, global brand and consumer marketing Minjae Ormes told Adweek. After the warm welcome, it is time to say goodbye to LinkedIn’s Lite app as it will be deactivated on 15th March 2022 for all Android users.

“We have heard from our members in developing markets that our full version app and mobile web experience now better serve their needs,” Ajay Datta, Head of Product at LinkedIn India, explains in a blog post. The app was launched in August 2017 and was available in more than 60 countries.
