Welcome to the latest edition of the LinkedLetter, your go-to source for all the latest updates and insights on the world’s leading professional social media platform, LinkedIn. In today’s feature, we will be talking about LinkedIn’s resolve to label AI-generated content, its fairly new games-centered newsletter, and CEO Ryan Roslansky’s talk with Amazon’s Andy Jassy.

LinkedIn Launches Content Credentials Feature

LinkedIn announced that its members will see a new icon on AI-generated content. This icon will allow users to trace the origin of the content, see its history, and determine whether it has been created or edited using AI. This is in line with the professional platform’s announcement of its adoption of the Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) standard to address the growing concerns over AI-generated content. This standard, developed by an alliance including Adobe, Microsoft, and others, aims to provide transparency regarding the origins and modifications of digital media.

For now, the feature is only available on your feed, but further down the line, it will also be available for ads. The implementation of the C2PA standard is part of LinkedIn’s efforts to enhance digital safety and maintain trust on the platform by providing clear provenance and authenticity information for AI-generated media.

LinkedIn Already Has a Newsletter Dedicated to Its Games

LinkedIn has a weekly newsletter dedicated to its new games features. Titled Gametime, it launched roughly a month ago and is being edited by Paolo Pasco. He is also the mastermind behind the weekly word puzzles and has long-time experience – he has been creating these types of games since 2015.

The newsletter is lighthearted and focuses on statistics about the success rate from the weekly challenge presented in Queens, Crossclimb, and Pinpoint. You can see the solutions to some of the puzzles explained, as well as a short overview on news in the puzzle game word titled Weight In.

CEO-to-CEO: LinkedIn’s Ryan Ryslansky and Amazon’s Andy Jassy Have a Talk

Jassy emphasized the significant role of attitude in achieving success, particularly in the early stages of one’s career.
